The survival motor neuron (SMN) spot analysis in the five spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) neonates. The percentage of SMN-spot+ cells (y-axis) is based on the number of days since birth (x-axis). The first point is the date of birth and the day the cord blood was analysed. Arrows indicate the date of nusinersen (Nu) or onasemnogene abeparvovec (OA) administration. Open symbols represent the analysis in the untreated period, and closed symbols represent the analysis after the start of disease-modifying therapy (DMT). The dates of DMT initiation are listed in Table 1
